The Smart Choice For Business

HR & Performance Management

Human Resource Management

There are specific procedures that must be followed in certain situations in relation to employee rights and employer obligations and the absence of such can lead to unnecessary complications. Indeed employers have certain statutory obligations which many are unaware of. A wide variety of experience is available here from employee contract drafting to redundancy counselling. We have an in house HR lawyer who can, review Employment Law issues as and when they arise, prepare, draft and negotiate contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, severance agreements and company handbooks. We provide advice and assistance on internal disciplinary and grievance procedures and investigations, provide advice and practical know how on redundancy and workforce restructuring rules and obligations. We can help make overall recommendations on the Irish Legal framework governing employee and employer relationships including notice periods, illness benefits, holiday, illness, parental and maternity leave. It is now more then ever commercially prudent to have proper methods in place so as to minimise the risk to companies of disputes arising, and thus reducing the risk of exposure to unnecessary costs to the Company.

Performance Management Systems

Traditionally accountancy practices have been able to model productivity and outputs, determine Key Performance Indicators and help set up systems of early warnings and predictions that can greatly assist a company. We like to take matters a little further here, looking at how productivity and outcomes can be tied into reward and remuneration packages, and linking incentives to performance. Critically we like to create a path between Strategic Objectives, the initiatives designed to achieve those objectives and the operational plans (with attendant KPI’s) that lead to consistent and higher level performance in an organisation.
