Executive Coaching & Mentoring
It is important to distinguish between training, mentoring and coaching. Training should be designed to improve a person's skills and abilities to deliver effectively in their current role. Mentoring should be done by someone who is or has been in the role that the person being mentored is expected to be able to fulfil. Mentoring should be role specific. Coaching is aimed at maximising performance and that may mean redefining the roles that people take, and exploring the boundaries of what’s possible.
A good coach will challenge and share experience, to the point where it is often hard to distinguish between coaching and mentoring and the only real difference is the extent to which a coach has been in the role they are supporting in the past. At Moore Stephens Nathans we are able to offer substantial training in financial systems, software and processes, mentoring for Financial Controllers and Finance Directors, and coaching for MD’s / CEO’s and board members at the highest level.
